DIAGNOSTICS FEE:
A $65 diagnostic fee will be billed for each item regardless of whether the client elects to proceed with a repair. If a repair is approved, the $65 diagnostic fee will be credited towards the hourly rate. Payment of the diagnostic fee is required prior to release of the property in the event a repair is declined.
ESTIMATE POLICY:
Estimates are only estimated costs of parts and repairs and are subject to change at any time. In the event additional services or parts are required outside of the original estimate, the Client will be notified if it substantially changes the cost of repair.
DELIVERY OF GOODS AND SERVICES:
Stone Solid Productions will do its best to complete all repairs in a timely manner. Stone Solid will estimate the time needed for the repairs. However, there may be instances when the delivery of the service cannot be achieved due to circumstances beyond our control, such as orders. All delivery times indicated should be considered approximate and we will not be held liable for compensation or damages due to a late or non-delivery of parts necessary for repairs.
PAYMENT POLICY:
Payment including diagnostics and completed repairs is due in full upon completion of a diagnostic or repair, prior to the release of the equipment whether shipped to the Clients address or picked up from Stone Solids place of business unless by special previous arrangement.
If credit terms are approved, payment in full must be made within 30 days from the date of the invoice. Beyond the 30 days, we have the right to add an additional 5% penalty of the total invoice for each week of non-payment
COLLECTION POLICY:
Any equipment left with Stone Solid and unclaimed for 90 days, will be disposed of to recover our costs incurred while carrying out a service or repair. After this period, Stone Solid shall have no liability to the Client or any third party.
LIMITED LIABILITY:
While Stone Solid shall make every effort to preserve the integrity of equipment left for repair, the Client agrees not to hold Stone Solid liable for any accidental damage to the equipment. Stone Solid cannot be held liable for any loss of data, loss of revenue or profits, or any incidental, contingent, or consequential damages, however caused either prior, during a service or upon completion of service. Stone Solid liability of any kind with respect to services undertaken, including any negligence on its part, shall be limited to the contract price for the services provided.
WARRANTY:
Stone Solid provides a 30-day warranty on all parts purchased and installed by Stone Solid during the course of repairs. If the same problem re-occurs within 30 days of the original repair, Stone Solid will undertake the repair again without charge. However, charges will be incurred should additional parts be needed. Parts are only covered under warranty that fail due to manufacturing defects or installation errors. Should a part fail because of mishandling of the instrument or part or inadequate subsequent servicing or maintenance, the warranty will be invalidated. Stone Solid's warranty covers only the cost of parts and the not the cost of labor. Any warranty offered will become invalid if the Client, or other third party, removes or otherwise tampers with in any way the parts installed during the repair.
