The INTEC Audio X12-T is a high performance active direct box that is engineered to be used in the recording studio, touring and live sound environments. The X12-T uses a premium Cinamag Transformer and features exceptional signal handling capabilities with low distortion. Every aspect of the X12-T has been optimized for maximum headroom and dynamic range you need to deliver the pure and natural tone of your instruments.
The X12-T has a Mute Switch to allow an instrument to be Tuned silently using the Buffered Tuner Output. It also allows the instrument to be unplugged without the annoying pop and possible damage to the sound system or in-ear monitors, and is great for saving battery life of a guitar. The X12-T Buffered Tuner Output allows the Tuner to be plugged in at all times and not affect the tone of the instrument, which can be common with many tuners. The Tuner Output is Pre-Mute. Add to that the Thru Output which can be used to send your signal to your favorite Amp, along with the signal going to the Mixer. The Thru Output can be set Pre or Post Mute. The Thru Output is set to be Post Mute from the factory.
