The INTEC Audio RDA is a compact high performance active direct box. Don't let the small size and affordable price fool you. This little DI gives you pro performance and features such as a Mute switch. When activated it allows you to unplug your instrument without the noisy pop, which is great for quietly switching instruments, saving battery life on your guitar and protecting speakers. The RDA is powered by 48V Phantom Power.
You don't have to settle for less! The Thru Output on the RDA is Buffered so your instrument will not be loaded down while driving both the direct box and your amp at the same time. The result is you retain the natural tone of your instruments. The Thru Buffered Output can be switched to operate Pre or Post Mute and comes factory set to Post Mute. If the Thru Buffered Output is not needed you can switch the Thru Output from Post Mute to Pre Mute and use the Buffered Thru Output as a Tuner Output. This would allow you to use the Mute feature to tune your instrument silently while leaving the Tuner plugged into the RDA at all times without signal loss. The RDA is built with rugged road ready construction and functionality above and beyond other DI's in it's price range.
